My brother-in-law finally found a bottle of Blantons where he lives, so he has one cork now. He asked me if I could make him a display, that way he can try to fill it with all eight corks. Found the perfect piece of wood, drilled out the holes, time for sanding, but I decided I can’t send it empty, it wouldn’t look right and I just happened to have another complete set that I will include that with his display.

Time to start sanding!!!

So a friend has a walking stick

It’s a dowel rod with lots of little carvings that slide over the dowel

Several of his friends have made carvings for it

He asked me to make a piece to add to it

I got a kick out of you carving the clamp into fingers. Perfect! Fun to go out for sure. Last night I finished the newest 2024 Reacher book by Lee Child. I've read them all. This one was better than the last. His son now co-authors the books.

Square Bob is fun. I am looking forward to the finished project when he attaches it.
