So tell me Hakalugi, do you know something about Rincon that I should know.

Yes, they have lame bartenders. Other than that the place is great.

Here's a Motel that GROG told me about.

I've never been but I heard he's a regular!!!

http://www.rivieraadultmotel.com/

Well then....obviously Grog is a "dignified adult"...and, afterall they do have the Disney Channel at that shack.

Bad bartenders at a Harrahs....shocking...simply shocking. I'll be doing my drinking from a brown paper bag and Corona Contessa....well it's all in the name.

This will be my first So-Cal event, so looking forward to the shopping, as it will get me warmed up for Oasis. :)

Uh Oh,
is this the start of another 'flair discussion'???

THIS JUST IN!
A photo of GROG,JeffBigTikiDude, and Mistress Squirrel at the Riviera Adult Hotel! My Private Detective took this (for legal reasons) by the way! I hope she whipped those boys into shape!

Holden you should put the date in the title of the thread.

ERNIE,
you should tell us the DATES you'll be at the Riviera Adult Hotel!

Anyways..Curious about the upcoming event,I decided to
take my Time Machine forward to April 14th for the Sale
to see how it would go!
Little did I realize.....

Here's myself pointing to Chongolio's booth! He's showing
off his muscles there in an attempt to sell his wares....

Here's Hiphipahula,Holden, and Soccertiki,at Chris' booth...
He made a killing on his reasonably priced Shaka Sunglasses...

And finally, there's Doug Horne and Squid in front of BambooBen's Booth!
I think Dave bought that mounted Squirrel Head from him!
It was a great time! Hope to see you all there again in two weeks!

Ben, get your crap together and I'll sell it fer ya. 60% commission sounds good.

Pdrake's gonna be there too selling his awesome jade and ivory jewelry and maybe even some surprises!!

I suggest keeping the kids away from Ruzic's paintings. It's the same effect as the siezures induced by intense strobe lights.

And speakin' of Kinny's booth, here's a shot from last year...

You sure are VAIN Kinny! You put your picture in there 4 times and GROG only twice. Oh waitaminute---that one on the right is Sabu The Coconut Boy. Sabu, you've GOT to change your look. At the last Tonga Hut Art show GROG had two different people come up and start talking to GROG about a conversation they said they had with GROG at the previous art show. GROG didn't know what the hell they were talking about until GROG realize they had mistaken GROG for Sabu.
GROG not sure how, GROG MUCH better looking!

Love that "Little Lost" painting of the Tiki Shields happily leaping about, they look like cute little bunnies - on Easter Island!

Meanwhile, at Hardcore Tiki I've got Model 2A of da Mug Huts - Tonga Style in Black bamboo (pictured) and natural. Three coats of amber Spar (!), thatched by South Seas Natives in traditional style, built to hold mugs and booze as a bar, a display shelf, stand on tabletop or wall-hung. Backed with Tapa barkcloth and deep black rattan. Classic sidesaddles for swizzle stix, straws, umbrellas or napkins.

I'm also signing copies of my kid's book "Pineapple Poet and the Curse of the Smoothie Man", and will have Pineapple Poet art, t-shirts, etc. on hand.

All TCers get discounts and free rides on my Black Hibiscus Bicycle, come by and yell Aloha!

High praise indeed, GROGlodite!

It's hard to get a good shot of the Mug Huts. They're just deep enough to hold bottles and mugs, and the thatching is pretty cool. Now I wanna redo my whole place in Black Bamboo.

The square version has frontal anti-earthquake brackets (suggested by HodadHankster) to hold your mugs in case of global warming faultline eco disasters.

Here's my bike, I'll try to bring it for rides. It has one of those boating drink holders bolted to the front for cocktails to GO!

Layta

VROOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
Great bike and shelf!
Cain't wait ta see them in da flesh!

M

Just added! Dibroc's other half, Paula (K-6 teacher), has volunteered to help out and will set-up an area in our lobby for kids to hang out and there will be crayons and Tiki coloring pages! There's even mention of a little Tiki prize for the first 50 little artists! Thank you Laura!!

Dibroc will also be volunteering his time, roaming from parking duty supervisor to "vendor relief" you know - if ya gotta go!!

We ask that everybody attending park on the street. This is a pretty busy area, even on the weekends, and parking spaces in our business park and the adjacent business parks is at a premium.
