It's all wax, but because I'm not using candles with real fire any more and it's not dangerous, now I put a clear coat to finish and protect them better. I envy very much all the variety of resins you have to choose from. Here there are only polyester or epoxy and they aren't great anyway..

Dear Clarita, I Hate to see you struggling so much carving wax. Have you ever tried jewelers carving wax? It is MUCH Harder than candle wax and SO MUCH Easier to carve than candle wax, (If that is what you Are carving?). This stuff comes in blocks and sheets and the sheetscan be melted together with an inexpensive solderring iron or wax gun. It finishes up with files or sandpaper like wood and can be polished with a liquid called waxbright also available on this site. Try it you might like it?

Benz uuhh nice stuff, yes I would love to try it!
but is not that a carve wax, a carve clay or epoxy sculpt and I'm fine with that, then a take a mould and make copies out of wax, no problem there.
Mike was asking if I use wax or resin for the girl, because with the right resin it would be a lot better, but that kind of resin doesn't exist here and it can't travel because it very unstable, that's what my resin distributor told me, but it's ok I managed for the wax to copy well enough so..

yes these LED tea candles flicker like fire, and if you put them near a wall they cast the light in the shape of the flowers it has in the sides :)
I'll see if I can take pictures of that later and / or make a gif or a video..
Also they have little boxes too, I promise pictures of that soon.

I do like that one a lot, I always admired that your work is organic,
how everything flows. Maybe opposite to what I do the most, that is carving
very strait lines, in general... This one was trying to be more like you.
I was going for a free, natural, organic vibe to it..
Because somehow, I think that's more evolved or more real, or I don't know,
more connected to life and wise :)

And here is a little something more characteristic of me and my style,
a hollow candle version of one of my Bamboos,
another of my experiments sort of impossible to make right
(because you can't repair with this kind of wax, so you need a perfect copy
in the first try, almost impossible, specially with this design ) but fun to try :)

awesome bamboo carve... the candle looks wonderful especially glowing. do you have a battery candle in there? I would hate to light it as I wouldn't want it to melt away
