Cool carve! I started a flat board but am having trouble keeping the non-grain sections from splintering and cracking off ... does that make sense? Maybe I need sharper knives! |

One of the biggest things I picked up from Benzart is how to sharpen. I have found that sharpening is a fine craft all on its own. Thats why I prefer the disposable blades! If you can find a class close to (Woodcraft??) where you live its worth the money. A dull chisel is more dangerous than a sharp one - believe it or not. Nicely done Will - I look forward to seeing what LLT does with it! |
