Wow Will, great projects and style, fantastic work!!

Oh my
Cocouku awesome
Grinder looks kool
Monster is a monster

Cheers

T

What a grinder, holy smokes man!

Thank you all for your thoughts.
I'm done carving this guy.
He's going to live out side
so it needs to be protected.
I'm using Behr stain.
Also I need to seal the top.
I'm coating it with a rubber roof coating.
Then paint it to match.
We'll see.

Love it
HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

T

He's awesome Will. It was an honor to see him up close and in person!

This guy's done.
Filled him with pepper &
he grinds like a pole dancer.

The details to get every thing right were endless.
And this pic doesn't do it justice.

It may not be the biggest pepper grinder ever but,
its a hoot to use.

Excellent Will!

T

Fantastic Will!!! Bravo!! Just showed the wife and she approves heartily!

BB

That is just awesome! Both the pepper mill and the moai.

Looking back, I love the idea for your coconut uke. A curved fretboard should be feasible, in theory, but it looks like the action is pretty darn high on your prototype. A lowered nut might be all it needs.

WC

Bam Bam,
I guess you play a uke &
you know what you're looking at.
There are 3 things wrong with it.
Biggest problem I can't change is the curve of the frond.
So I'll try to fix them all next time around.

Hilda,
I'm so pleased when you're pleased.

Last years Hukilau carve class was a blast.
50 people in my class &
I believe every one who stayed till the end
finished their pendent.

Looks like we're doin it again.
Here's a peek at this years pendant.
EZ enough for all.
Kinda like last year but different.

Looks like the biggest pepper grinder I’ve ever seen

Awesome

T

Pendant be good.

Will I finally was able to get you animated pepper grinder going

I started a new frond.

They start slow.

Mike - twist n shout
Will - nice

But they ramp up quick.

What does this frond have in common
with a golf coarse?

It has 18 holes.
X-tra credit?
Cha-Ching

Looks like it's back to the driving range for me, excellent work Will!

Dog leg left

Awesome Bruddah

H

Love the side view.

T

Stellar! Extra credit: Hell Yeah.

My camera battery died &
I finally got a new one.

I did finish this frond.
First one in a while.

Have I mentioned how much
I like carving fronds?
Yes I have.

And I've started on pendants.
These snails are all around my house.
I've been collecting them &
been wanting to use them in a carve.

The carving is the one for the Hukilau Carve Class this year.
The snail shell eyes?
Well not every thing goes on the first shot.

So I tried putting them in from the back.

Bingo?

& a few more.

Very nice Will!!

T

That one looks fun. You're on a roll man!!

A front on pic doesn't really show this well.
This frond curves back & forward.
Here's a profile.

WC

At this year Hukilau along side our Tiki purses
we will introduce Tiki hats.
You don't have a Tiki hat with out
a Tiki on it.

That said,
smore palm frond pendants.

And a special request.

That’s a good looking army of tikis

Great Work!

You been busy, your newest frond necklace is a beaut!

H

What Cy said.

T

What those other guys said!

The face is the one we're carving in the
Hukilau carve class this year as a pendant.

Lean, mean n clean
Nice one Bruddah

H

That's a beauty.
