TC night, Mondays at Don the Beachcomber in Sunset Beach Ca.

OK new beginning page for this thread.

Just like other tiki places like Tiki Ti has a Wed. TC night.
and Trader Vics has a Thurs. TC night.

Lets have a Monday TC night at Don the Beachcomber.

Happy Hour is all night on mondays.
1/2 price on all drinks and appetizers.

post here if you plan on swinging by on monday.
or if you are gonna be going on another night,

you never know, who, when TC people may want to meet up for a drink.

Tuesdays would be better, due to the all night long happy hour. We took advantage of that last night.

I thought the all night long happy hour was mon. tues. and wed.
and Ryan(new bar tender) is only there on fri. sat. sun. mon.

Is it open on Monday? We were thinking that it would be a fun day trip, but I called and their message said that they are open Tuesday - Sunday

yes they are open monday.

well a few things.
I don't think there is a don the beachcomber website up.
so here is the old Kona one.

it says they are closed monday
believe me they are open.

most of the menu items are still in place.
but some are gone.

just go, and look at the little table top lists of appetizers and drinks.
it has all the happy hour stuff on there.

and/or ask you waiter/waitress

Had a blast last night with everyone. Man can my daughter pack a way a meal!!!!!! I wish the batteries in my camera were not dead cuz it was pure drama outside. We rolled up to the place surrounded by 10 police cars. Did that stop us from pulling in.....heck no! No drama at Don's just some random guy and girl in some scuffle with the cops. Food was great, drinks were great, and company was the greatest. I'll have to do this again.

When we do our tiki road trip this summer, I will make sure the day we go to Huntington beach and Don's is Monday so we will be able to join all of you.

Bummed I missed out yesterday...

Looks like I can't make a Monday until the 20th.

It is interesting hanging out at DTB, you meet new people and share tiki information .
There are a lot of people from out of town and state that are coming to Huntington Beach just to visit the new DTB. Thursday the new DTB menu will be out. The people that own DTB are putting in a lot of time and work and especialy staff want to make your visit perfect. With great food, top notch drinks and friendly conversation. Come on down and say hi. It is nice having a DTB in HB.
