Down here its getting quite cool. Because of a cold I havent been able to go outside and carve. That sucks. And I dont have a pool for when its hot. I still like tikis though :D

Is there a tiki season in space? Or does tiki just go off all year round?

It's "Tiki Season" year round in the Polynesian Islands, but don't know about space. Seems like it would be a bit cold, but Flounder DID design some Tiki Astronauts.

Friggin Keeeripes! Drove to Rancho Cucamonga. Just got hotter and hotter as we got nearer and nearer. I'm guessing they have a deal with the weather folks just to keep the name in the public eye. Are you feeding the tomato the correct beef? Is it some tomato cross-bred with a mutant venus fly trap?

Don't move to space, I can only imagine it would be even harder to grow your veggies - especially with no seasons - hot do you know when to plant?

Speaking of SplitEnz....Hot Dry Weather will cause Split Enz...so use lots of conditioner...Also,if you wash your hair with the juice from a Beefeater Tomato,that gets rid of 'em too!

grog and i don't worry about split enz.

GROG have micro climate, too. Just a mile from the house there are plants that bloom about a month before the same plants at GROG's house,and it's all because of the mountains between here and there.

Butt I heard you both had splint ends...tiki booties.

Maybe it's the micro climate affecting GROG's lack of split enz.

There is no climate control in my yard or my house that supports any kind of planting. Plants commit suicide upon entry onto my property. I have some nice plastic plants, and they only have 14% rodent parts in the fake leaves. RATS....surfing rats....ewwwwwww.

GROG know what you mean. GROG have some really nice plants that last awhile and then bite the dust, but there's one big plant somebody gave me that must be some sort of flowering weed. That sucker grows like crazy and spits out a whole bunch of babies. But at least it has some nice little pink flowers and it blooms pretty often , too.

Well if memory serves me right, (and correct me if I'm wrong Vampi) Anthurium can be cured with antibiotics. It can be contracted by several means, one of them being contact with rodent hair. I only know this as a result of a little incident in Ames, Iowa back when I was on the road in a rock band. They had a great free health clinic and the staff there hipped me to it. Pretty much no one else in the band got it after that. Crab lice, however, was a different story.

AHHH! OK I'll try it. But isn't the tomato technically a fruit? Wouldn't this cause some sort of mutation?
