I've been wanting to try one of these. It was a natural progression from my tiki skulls. |

I saw it on Facebook, but had to comment here as well...Excellent work, as always...While on the Big Island in 2005, I checked out Aloha Woods and bought some Koa, they also had some odd local woods available, like Plumeria, and Mac nut...Maybe you should find some of those woods to try out as well...You're work is always so nicely detailed and crisp and clean...Keep it up. Aloha! Paul |

The checking of the wood gives it a cool vintage look. Trying to get wood to dry is a real pain in moist environments. I have a wood shed just for that purpose. Looking forward to see more!! |

Great looking marq and congratulations on your move to paradise! (I know that's a bit late...) I had always thought that their might be a pretty decent tourist market for traditionally inspired tikis on the islands. I'm assuming you've been to Havaiki in Hanalei? Enjoy paradise and glad to see that you are still carving away! |
