I used Buzzys hook-knife for the first time at the PIFA. Now I can't live without it. Damn you, Buzzy!! I need to sit down and order mine when I get a chance, but I've got a few too many Irons in the fire right now. Next week, maybe. The hook-knife is a beautiful thing.

Last night did some work on the arms, legs, feet...

and the back of the headress.

GHEEZ....buzzy....the date i picked for the sunset contest is'nt looking to good....either the earths orbital rotation has slowed or things just move a little slower in san diego....maybe you could kinda move south a little ...say a mile or so... to take the pictures .it might give me a better chance with a different angle

So as not to skew the data, I have been taking the picture from the same spot every night. Maybe it will pick up some speed as the weekend approaches.

Buzzy, set aside 2 boxes of those ugly mugs for me. Those are perfect for guests that are a little rowdy and will never touch the good stuff.

Buzzy..."long time listener, first time caller"... As for the sun set contest... Did any one choose the 2nd...( i don't believe so )? If not; would like to lay claim to that date... if in the case that I've missed a post of another, I humbly apologize to the particular party for trespassing and shall forgo the first guess and move to the eighth.( if at all possible) By the way... your posts are refreshing as well as a veritable potpourri of sights sounds and eye candy for the soul... Even though I'm using only the chainsaw for this one, progress is slow

It's real dangerous trying to make these cut outs with the chainsaw. Difficult, too.

Those legs need a hole between them too.

Time to gas up the saw and let the chips fly!

HOKU and Tornhalo: So if I order a set of Photo mugs with the Chippenmales photo on it, and a brass knuckle handle, I'm not going to get a bunch of pissed off posts about ripping off mug ideas now, am I ? Because I do still have that time machine, and I am more than willing to alter history through its use, and I will now claim that I am going to, in the future, go back in time and mention the idea of the mugs with you guys, thus making it presently, my idea.

I'm thinking about having a tiki design contest because this sunset contest is going so well!

BTW, I know you've had one.. but be careful with that saw.. I've seen some really nasty accidents involving spinning metal sharp things.

i would'nt say im a loser.....i just miscalculated the rotation of the earth verses the orbital plane and the gravitational pull of the sun ....sounds better anyway....
