Speaking of comic books. I've been hired to paint a variant cover to the third issue of TIKI ZOMBIE put out by New Legend Productions. Can't show it quite yet but here's a sneak peek.

Thanks Ken! I got to speak with Eric a couple of times and Pablus hung out at my booth for a bit as well. You miss a lot when vending as I'm sure you know and since I haven't been out to the west coast a lot of people don't quite know who I am or at least don't recognize me. Never got to see Ben and only said a brief hi to Al while passing each other on the vendor floor. I've been thinking of heading out to Oasis some day but the logistics of vending across the country is a bit much for me now...maybe soon! Would love to finally meet you and Doug!

Ha! Well by the time I can announce it the weather will be cool! :D

Anyway, been kept away from my tiki art by those blasted sketch cards. This time I'm working on an upcoming Upper Deck release called Marvel Masterpieces. But the tikis call me and I find myself working on quick projects or slowly working on long term projects....so here's a sketch I did today and a painting in progress.
