Hi All,

I'll be at a signing event at Disneyland's Wonderground Gallery on Dec. 6th. Disney will be unveiling my 2 paintings seen below. The original and prints will be available for purchase. The event is from 11am-1pm. Hope to see some of you there!

Robert’s imagination and desire to draw were first fueled by his frequent visits to the corner newsstand in his Brooklyn neighborhood to purchase comic books, especially those that featured the art of Neal Adams, George Perez, and Jim Aparo. Later, the films seen on local TV, everything from the comedies of Abbott & Costello and The Marx Brothers, B Monster movies, and especially the Planet of the Apes series, left a definite imprint in his work. More recently, an interest in Tiki and Pulp Art have been added to the mix. Incorporating an ever-growing cast of Apes, Tikis, and appearances from the likes of Doc Savage, Tarzan, The Shadow, and more. He is creating a unique narrative through his paintings and sculptures.

Robert’s work has appeared on album covers, in publications such as Tiki Magazine and Pinstriping & Kustom Graphics Magazine, and has shown in galleries including Harold Golen, M Modern, Creature Features, and Bear & Bird. He has worked for Topps, Cryptozoic, and Upper Deck on Licenses such as Mars Attacksi, Star Wars, DC Comics, Marvel Comics, and Adventure Time.

Had a great time in California. Met up with HB Tiki and Gecko for dinner and met Kenny and Big Toe at the signing on Saturday. Happy to report that my Rocketeer painting sold immediately. Not sure of the Rongo is still available. There are prints of both and magnets of Rongo for sale at the store. If you are not near Disneyland you can call Disney Merchandise Guest Services at 877-560-6477 and they'll ship it out to you.

Have taken so much work for hire the past year, progress on this painting slowed to a crawl (and subsequently less posts here)....trying to get some work done on it before my next deadlines!

But! Part of that work falls into Tiki territory! Look for an announcement soon!

Had a great time at the new Wonderground Gallery in Disney World’s Marketplace Co-Op located in Downtown Disney this weekend. Thanks to all those who came out and picked up prints and postcards of my Pele, Rongo and Rocketeer paintings. The original Pele and Rongo as well as the Pele custom painted Vinylmation figure are still available as of this writing.

If anyone is interested in prints or the originals and can’t make it out to either Wondergound Gallery location, you can still purchase these items by calling Disney Merchandise Guest Services at 877-560-6477 and pressing Option #2.
