Had a $100 Mai Tai with the Creole Shrubb sub in place of Curacao...amazing. Also made a Hawaiian Eye for the first time (1oz. Cruzan Single Barrel, 1/2 oz. El Dorado 3-Year White, 1/2 oz. lime juice, 1/2 oz. falernum, 1/2 oz. rich sugar syrup, 8oz. crushed ice)...VERY tasty. I'm feeling mighty fine right about now

TV Navy Grog . . . I have simplified the process for making . . . combined equal parts white, gold, and dark rum into one bottle and into another bottle half TV Grog Concentrate and half simple syrup . . . now my counter is only cluttered with one bottle of "rum", one squeeze bottle of syrup, some grapefruits and limes!

A wise man once said, "Put all your booze in one bottle . . . it'll look like you're drinking less."

I can only have one more Navy Grog as I only have one rock candy stick left, time to reload!

Update . . . if I'm careful, I can make a rock candy stick last for two-and-a-half Navy Grogs!

As I walked in I was reading Critiki review:
Here it is
So much potential... Sadly it is all unrealized. From the Belinda Carlisle on the jukebox
to the "sad bastards" on the left side of the bar and
the (what I am pretty sure were) homeless guys on the right.

It was spot on
The sad dudes were on the left
One offered to take our photo for a beer

Cool stuff on the walls for sure

Hey HTT, Can you share your recipe? My braddah TikiVato and I are partail to Pyrat rum. Liked the "Pistol" even more. TikiVato still has half a bottle left of the two bottles he was given last summer by a non rum drinking friend.
Cheers

Bajam rum punch. 1rst time for me. A bit too sweet- gonna tweak it a bit, maybe increase the lime or use Key limes stead of Persian.
Thanks for the scoop on the "one eyed Pyrat" HT.Btw, I love "Hula's".
