Steven Crane's Rum Barrel. The only thing I'm missing is the ceramic barrel, but it's plenty good without it. The almond extract is a nice touch. |

I have no idea what this is or what to call it but it is DELICIOUS: 1 oz. El Dorado 5 Year Note: I know how annoying the 0.33 oz. measure of falernum is but 0.5 oz. just made the spice too prominent, whereas the slightly smaller ratio just gave it a nice, suggestive hint of something. It's improved with Meyer lemon juice but great with regular. A half ounce float of Plantation Dark Overproof (the Trinidad & Tobago stuff, not the OFTD) is a really nice addition, though it tends to exaggerate the quality of your OJ. |
