The Original TIKI Market Place "End of Summer Extravaganza" September 23, 2023

Thank you Chris and Karen for a wonderfully fun party. We had a blast. Seeing everyone again was like an Oasis preview. I also got to meet the people behind the Tiki Central names like Chuck Tatum is Tiki, yes he is!

Here are some of the photos I took that day and the night before. We had a wonderful dinner at Don the Beachcomer's and wondered around looking at each room. It was our first visit since the changeover from Sam's.

Now if MadDogMike and little lost tiki had been there I would have gotten ALL the hugs I wanted! Cheers, Wendy

I would hit the LIKE button for the photos but can't quite get the hang of it so I will express my liking the photos in the old fashion way and make a post that says

Start saving your milk money! The International TIKI Market Place will be back March 4! Additional new vendors and LIVE Hawaiian Music!!!

MARCH 4.......Mark your calendars! 11am to 4pm (extended an extra hour!)

The vendors are signing up! So far on board we have Atomic Tiki Punk w/Jungle Ginger, Bamboo Ben, Crazy Al, Doug Horne, Doug DoRr, Dr Z, Happy Chi, HB Tiki, Hot Tiki, Lake Tiki (from Milwaukee), Smokin' Tiki, Sven Kirsten, Taboo Island and more adding daily!!!

The musical talent will be lined up by this weekend! Stay tuned!

Just Added:
The Smokin' Menhunes will entertain us with their unique style of "Hapa Haole" Hawaiian music from noon til 4pm in the Hidden Village!

I'm pleased to be a part of the International Tiki Marketplace at Don the Beachcomber's! Thanks to Art, Chris and everyone else involved in putting this event together!

This event will be the debut of my new 2012 Collection, and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again! It will be good to shake off the chill of the Midwest Winter!

We've got 3 more vendor spaces available! This International TIKI Market Place will be bigger than the first one! Thank you again to all who made the first Market Place so successful! Come early and stay late....The vending starts at 11am and music at noon! Happy Hour starts at 3pm.

Vendor List Updated on Page 1. March 4th will be a date not to be missed!!! Lots of great tiki merchandise at great prices! Come socialize with friends and listen to some great music.

We now have a "full house" of vendors!!! 25 is all we can handle this month. If you want to be on a waiting list, please PM me. We've got tiki carvers, tiki sellers, pendant carvers, illustrative artists, collectors releasing vintage things back into the wild, tiki builders, jewelry vendors, Hawaiian Lotions vendors, craftsmen selling their wares, a surf photographer, mug makers, musicians, food, tiki drinks and more!!!
