I always liked this thread, but didn't have anything I was proud enough to post until now. (Better late than never?...)

I made this pumpkin cake for our Halloween shindig last night: buttery yellow cake base, pumpkin pie filling and a cinnamon and sugar crust on top.

Happy (almost) Halloween! (~~)

Thanks MauiRose...I'll pass the kind words on to Sherriyaki, she does most of the cookin'.
She isn't scared of using lots o' butter n' oil in her cookin' though.

I FINALLY cooked something! Usually my cooking is either baking related or grilling chicken so to actually use a recipe and for it to come out edible is pretty amazing to me (and everyone who knows me).

Christmas Eve my friends and I had a big seafood dinner and I cooked this shrimp scampi. and people ate it. and LIKED IT!

It really was a Christmas miracle!!

btw Mauirose love the snowman cupcake!

TT

Fried eggs with polenta and black beans for breakfast today.

Nice presentation!

Mmm, I love breakfast. Alas, most mornings it's a mocha yogurt from Trader Joe's for me.

TT

Thanks for the compliment Jungle Ginger, I'll pass it on to Sherriyaki...I miss ATP's posts. :(

MauiRose...It's usually Mai Tais from Trader Vic's for me in the morning. :)

Fortunately I still get to enjoy ATP's cooking all the time. Here is what he made for dinner tonight.

Jeff(btd)

mmmmm....me like fondue. I made some tortilla soup from scratch for the first time Sunday but I never think to grab the camera when I'm done cooking.

Nice fondue spread ATP!

Here's a yummy Mexican inspired egg dish we had for breakfast the other day...

Finally remembered my camera. Shredded chicken, black olives, diced tomatoes, some diced chillies, little bit of onion, and some garlic. Wrap up in a tortilla and a side of black beans. Just something fast and easy to cook when you need to get to work but very tasty.

Mother's Day brunch:

Coconut challah french toast with bananas foster and pecans

Wow!!
Yum,

Jeff(btd)
