I have the last of the work on the mugs to share and then I'm taking a break for a month. I didn't know if I could get done in time but I did. My hands are having problems with numbness and burning. I've had one carpal tunnel on the right and looks like the left may need it. So one month off to see if having fun and not working can heal me. I am not going to type either. So no contact until May. Then it's back to work on the Sacramento Crawl mug.

I was beyond thrilled when my Tiki Mag showed up! Although I've never met her in person I was so excited to "know" someone featured in the magazine. What a great article and a well deserved honor for our favorite TC mug maker.

As for a photo of the backyard it's not that impressive during April in New Jersey but I'll see what I can do. I'm going to post in tiki collectors on FB but I'll share here too. I picked up a 50+ year old bamboo sofa today! Not a pretzel leg :( but it was only $50 and I'm really excited. I'll post a picture over the weekend when I get it in the hut. Now I just need to find some tiki or tapa-like fabric to recover the (original) cushions. Anyone have any leads for reasonably priced fabric. Spoonflower is cost prohibitive, I'll need a lot!

Yay!!!! We received the Aloha Hut Tiki Mug and it looks gorgeous. I still can't get over how thick these fogcutter shaped mug are...simply amazing!

Hello friends. Yes we did go away on a fabulous trip. Some of your photos were very close to what we did while in the South Pacific. I will share the photos as I put them into order and select the best to share. Once those are up I will begin to post the IN PROGRESS photos of the Sacramento Crawl mug from stage one until they are all finished and boxed. Hopefully they will all be done before Tiki Oasis which is my goal. I also will do a project for their art show.

I am so delighted with all of these messages and photos that I have copied them into my Photoshopped saved file. I've done that before starting to catch up on all the bills and other chores. Priorities that are joyful come first. You are all dear friends.

Bummer you guys just rock our world with all the fun photos. They did leave your name in there even though they left out the pictures. We were thrilled with the article but I did miss having a photo of my right hand man Dan in there. He got cut too!

LoriLovesTiki thank you so much. I took the magazine on our trip and MADE a few tourists look at it. I think they thought I was a bit nuts. Coconuts for sure.
