Hey Brandomoai. Welcome aboard. Now you need to find a stereo copy of Exotica. Keep looking - they're out there. I don't have a spare one but I have an extra copy of Quiet Village that you're welcome to, as well as a few other Martin Denny albums and maybe an Arthur Lyman or two (I buy the same albums over and over because I keep forgetting which ones I have). And give me a shout if you ever have any mugs you'd like to trade. Also, if you're ever in a thrift store and some dude's taking pictures of coconut monkeys or matadors, that'd be me. |

Very Nice Find Gator Rob! What is the shape on the stem? Is it a Jockey? It's a little hard to tell. |

Not satisfied with the last couple of weeks tiki find attempts post Trader Vic's warehouse sale led me back to an earlier craiglist posting. Yesterday's finds were pretty cool...dig?
Tom still has some pretty cool stuff left. He still has quite a few mugs, alot of Coco Joes, books, match books, menus and a slough of carved wooden tikis and hawaiiana. Worth checking out if you can. Here is the link to his posting: http://sacramento.craigslist.org/art/603507441.html Psycho Tiki D (I know I am and if you don't know it yet, you will soon)! |

I have to admit, it seems like everyone else's finds have been much more impressive than mine, but I might as well keep posting! I popped into Value Village (34th Ave) yesterday and found: |

Aztec calendar.
Yes, it could get pretty ugly. I'm not sure this burg is big enough fer the both of us. So keep your head up, it would be unfortunate if something was to fall on you from a height... Just kidding! (sort of). No, really, just kidding. If you ever do have mugs or other stuff you want to trade, I'd be up for it. Cheers! :drink: Nice find on the China Clipper brochure, PTD. I love old cutaway diagrams. -Sweet Daddy T. [ Edited by: Sweet Daddy Tiki 2008-03-18 18:22 ] |
