They are not Hula bookends. They are Maori. See the necklace she's wearing? It's Pania of the reef. |

I was going to say, but you beat me to it. A month ago I found this small Pania figure at a rummage sale. She's about 6" tall. Yes, her face is ghastly - "Pania of the Undead". This larger figure I bought a decade ago is a more successful likeness. -Sweet Daddy T. [ Edited by: Sweet Daddy Tiki 2017-11-18 03:28 ] |

Some recent tiki finds mostly from Waikiki (of all places) and one from Kapolei also on O'ahu. They are to keep the taller Lono, in the background, company. Also just found a set of 4 (still in the sealed wrap) tiki place mats from an antique shop in Atlanta. [ Edited by: creativenative 2017-11-18 07:06 ] |

Wow so much cool stuff. It is rare in our area to find anything. Yesterday at a thrift store I spotted a blue bank. Dan added it to his bank collection from the same maker. Now he wonders if there is a fourth one out there. We do have a salt and pepper by this company. Nothing on the bottoms we are guessing maker by design. Does anyone have information on these? Wendy |

Nui, Killer! He actually came into the antique mall where we have a space and gave my wife his card. I'm not trying to blow up the spot, but Reno is incredible for tiki finds. I've been collecting for about 12 years, and since we moved here in Feb, I've been finding crazy stuff I never thought I'd even get to see in person (the Los Angeles Islander Vicious Virgin Bowl comes to mind), let alone find in the wild. |

After looking for over ten years, I finally found a tiki mug at one of our local thrift stores. Yes, that's just how scarce tiki can be here in the Ozarks. My find? A set of four Paul Mitchell peanut tikis...sure, nothing super rare but I'm just happy to finally find something in the way of mugs. At $2 each, I'm not complaining. :) I also found this tall bamboo candle holder, which will look great with one of those flickering led candles. And last but not least, the smallest framed crochet image of a parrot in a ridiculously oversized frame (relatively speaking). Hahaha [ Edited by: tikitube 2017-12-21 14:42 ] [ Edited by: tikitube 2017-12-21 14:43 ] |

Found among my Christmas presents. My brother TikiVato visited the JungleBird a couple of months ago. I’m glad that he plans ahead and snagged this mug for his favorite brother. My wife gave me this. Each figure inside the globe is different The lights atop the Globe look like tiny flames when you throw the switch. Battery operated from Tommy Bahama . This will stay on display all year long. My wife also gave me these dessert plates from Tommy Bahama
