I have a Frankenstein mug (glazed white) that may be the same as yours. A sticker on the bottom says Aldon ACCESSORIES, LTD 1979 N.Y.C. MADE IN U.S.A. I find that, with the addition of a jaunty paper umbrella, it fits right in with my tiki mugs. :D |

Woo Hoo! Found this in the A.M. today, and I owe it all to Leleliz and her good luck mojo she passed on to me earlier this week (West Coast helping out the East Coast)! One jen-u-wine Hawaiian Village tiki mug. It's got a chip on the inner rim, but displays nice. Also the man in charge of glazing must have been on break, because the Hawaiian Village logo got some paint drippage glazed into the back. But hey, for one crisp dollar bill, I am happy. Very cool, drasticwagon. That tiki-headed canoe has showed up a few times recently on Tiki Central: Can you tell us what's printed on the back of that postcard? |

Sabu- It is a Qantas by air mail post card printed in Australia. It says " The beach of Waikiki, headquarters for the sun loving holiday makers"."Honolulu is another part of call on the Qantas round-world network". |

Found This Old New Zealand book at an antique show this past weekend. An dealer of militaria had this old whale tooth with a KU carved into it. It was beautiful but he wanted 495.00 so I just took a picture. The picture was FREE! |

It has been couple of turbulent weeks, in such, they have effected my ability to go hunting. Prior to going to the airport this morning, I had my sister drive to a couple of local spots. I dedicate today's "Tiki Finds" to my nephew
Aloha Jacob and later everyone else! PTD |

Yes. I have one of the small Outrigger bowls (appox. 4"w x 3"h) and a matching medium bowl from Skipper Kent's. I also have a large Outrigger bowl from the Stockton Islander; I'm hoping to find a large from Skipper Kent's as well to complete the set. The medium OMC Outrigger bowl was also used by Trader Dick's. |

I figured the smaller bowls existed, I just wondered how rare one from Johnny Quong's The Hawaiian markings were? PTD |

Haven't had much luck in my own neighborhood these days so I went poaching in 8ft Tiki's hunting grounds last weekend and found this fantastic Coco Joe's pipe holder! I'd been hoping to find one for a while now but never expected to see one since I can't imagine they're very common. Hopefully 8ft will forgive me!

SilverLine - your photographic skills always impress me. And so glad you photographed it with those pipes in place. That looks so swanky. Congrats on the find. |
