I know Mrs.No is right but I have developed an area where these "bad" masks actually can work. People want to get rid of them? I'm willing to receive! |

@ BayParkBuzzy: Last two weeks of stuff? TWO WEEKS ?!?! It would take me about seven or eight years to acquire that quantity [and quality] of Tiki items in Central Louisiana. I keep thinking I should just fly out to SF or somewhere in California for a weekend. Just hook up with a TCer who would be willing to take me around with them for an afternoon. It would probably be amusing, and maybe embarrassing. I've got a lot of pent-up desire - for Tiki, I mean. |

I didn't really go hunting last week, so here's mostly this week's stuff: Stabby Tahitian tiki thing: (I'm pretty sure it's a)Soloman Islands guy: HIP guy: Hollywood Tropics matchbook: Two Hawaiian dolls, palm tree, and a sand base in a bag Ceramic Tiki lamp:
I'm right on the edge of the Pacific, so this stuff just washes up on the beaches here all the time! I'm sure if I was a Civil War enthusiast, I'd be jealous of what you guys have out there because we don't have much Civil War stuff here. Lot's of tiki, though. And Mexican marble chess pieces that look like tikis. If you could only come out for a weekend, then come on out for Tiki Oasis. More tiki stuff there than you'll ever want or need.If I told you about all the cool old stuff I've personally sold there over the years, I think we'd both cry... Buzzy Out! |

He's a Duncan mold. Trader Tom has made some of him recently. Also, your finds kill me. So glad they're going to a good home though. |

So as soon as I complained about not being able to find much here, I walked through the little flea market and found this Tepco bowl for $20. |

You guys have great stuff in the US! Here's a pic of what I've picked up at carboot sales / charity shops in the UK in the last few months: L to r: 200ml Pussers flask, shell, brown Churchill pot, coconut mug, speckled white Churchill pot, mini mug by Lord Nelson , mini ship pencil sharpener (yes, pencil sharpener!), green Churchill pot Here's the bottom of one of the pots & the captain mini mug Ive not heard of Churchill Pottery or Lord Nelson Pottery - they're obviously produced by English firms & these are quite different from their normal ranges. Any ideas to the age / scarcity? |

I had five of the Churchhill pottery plant pot holders, in brown, not seen the other colours (I think I gave a couple away in Mug Swaps on here - as additional items) |

Funny thing is I live in San Diego had to go all the way to Fort Wayne In. for a thrift store find worth posting. I found this pineapple decanter. It is labeled American Legion 63rd National Convention 1981 Honolulu, HI. It appears to be in good shape except for being empty. :( Has anyone else come across one of these? Ooga mooga has the ave price of $8.45. http://www.ooga-mooga.com/cgi-bin/all/mug.cgi?mode=view&mug_id=2004 I guess I didn't get ripped off at 5 bucks. Awwwwwwe FREAK OUT! |
